I have thought about selling unwanted or grown out of baby clothes on e-bay, but you don't seem to get much for them, and if I can't make decent money out of them, I'd rather pass them onto my friends. All my friends in town have older children and have passed on to me, so I thought, what about my Minti friends.
This is how I thought it could work.
The Giver, writes a description & if possible supplies a photo of what she has to get rid of with sizes and approximate suitable ages for said sizes (we all know they don't neccessarily match & some are more generous than others).
The Receiver is the first person to say they want them (as all posts include the posted time, this should not ever be an issue), then through private Minti-mail, these 2 people exchange addresses and the Receiver sends the Giver a self addressed, pre-paid 2kg bag ($8.60 in Australia, Australia wide) which the Giver loads up and pops in the mail box. How Easy is that.
I don't know what the cost of international postage is, but will endeavour to find out, but there is nothing to stop those in the UK doing the same, or those in Canada etc.
Only good quality non stained clothing you would be proud to see your own child wearing, if it's junk throw it in your own bin.
We could even post photo's of our little angels in their new clothes for the Giver to see and admire.
Well I'm off to sort clothes.

Not to discourage this kind of sharing on Minti, but I wanted to tell US moms about a site I recently found called Zwaggle.com. It's a free swapping site and all you pay for is shipping. You earn "Zoints" for joining, inviting friends and posting items to share. You then buy items with your Zoints. I think it's a great GREEN sharing site for kids and pregnancy items in good condition and so I want to help spread the word. |

Anyone who is after newborn to size 2 girls clothing, i have heaps and heaps i have saved all the decent stuff from my daughter from roxy to pumpkin patch to bonds suits. Let me know if you want anything and send me a prepaid parcel thingy and i'll send them on to you, always thought they were to good to throw out and i'm not planning on having more children for years to come.

I'm really embarrased to say this, but i'm desperately after girls shoes for a 5 year old. She's in 13's which is a comfortable fitting for her and i like to get things bigger for her so they last a few years. so im just wondering if anyone has any size 13 and up shoes for her, weather it's sneakers, sandles, etc. Im not fussy. I'm pretty sure she's got shoes that don't fit her, so we could do a swap maybe, or someone can take shoes off me. I'll be going through her shoes this week, and let me know if your in need of shoes THanks. |

I have here a baby carrier. Its black and suitable from birth, and can be used with baby facing you then facing away from you and finally can be strapped onto your back.
It has only been used once and is in excellant condition.
